Avionics Inspector
Incumbent must be a team player and have strong desire to exceed expectations. Position responsibilities include compiling records, reviewing progress & completion of work orders, ensuring work performed meets repair station manual quality and safety standards, liaison with local FAA FSDO on projects, and assisting engineering staff with avionic modifications. Position requirements include 4 years experience in maintenance of corporate aircraft avionics systems, A&P certificate and/or other FAA designee authorizations, 2 years experience in technical writing or document processing, ability to perform post maintenance/modification flight evaluations & checkout, excellent communication both written and verbal, and computer skills including word & excel. Desired skills and qualifications include proficiency with Auto-Cad, DER/DAR (designated engineering representative/designated airworthiness representative), a degree in engineering or equivalent, inspection authorization certificate and strong leadership abilities.
